We Transport LLC in Bridgeport, CT seeks a part-time School Van Driver to transport students on allocated routes with safety as a priority. The role offers a split AM/PM shift, weekday only, with $17 per hour and training provided for the V Endorsement.

Qualifications

• School Pupil Transport License (V Endorsement) or willingness to obtain — we train!
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical.
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
