Job summary

First Student in Shoreham, NY is hiring part-time School Van Drivers to start mornings with student pickups and transport them safely to and from school. You will work split AM/PM routes on weekdays with no nights or holidays. A guaranteed minimum of 4.5 hours per day is provided along with training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver×s license.
• Part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes, weekdays only.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle and monitor safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
