First Student is hiring a Part-Time School Van Driver in Anoka, MN. You will start mornings with student pickups and return home after school, with opportunities for field trips and events.

No experience is necessary; receive expert training to become a safe and professional driver for the district. We offer a flexible part-time schedule, a supportive team, and pathways into leadership roles across locations.

Qualifications

• No experience required; expert training provided.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on vehicle to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Obey traffic laws and safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
