First Student in Champlin, MN is hiring part-time School Van Drivers to transport students to and from school and activities. No experience is required; we provide expert training to help you become a safe and professional First Student school van driver.

The role offers a flexible split-shift schedule and competitive hourly pay. Pay ranges from $26.00 to $31.00 per hour, plus training pay, benefits options, and opportunities for advancement across locations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with split AM/PM routes.
• English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean.
• Communicate with parents, school staff and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service during routes.
