Job summary

First Student Management LLC is hiring part-time School Van Drivers in Plymouth, MA. You’ll start mornings with pickups and return students home in the afternoon, with opportunities for field trips.

No experience is required as comprehensive training is provided and your safety and the students’ wellbeing come first. Pay is $24.00 per hour with a guaranteed 20 hours per week and a flexible schedule that fits weekdays only.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with weekday AM/PM routes; summers off.
• No experience required as training is provided.
• Demonstrate safety and strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, exits).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service throughout routes.
