Job summary

Virtua Health, Barrington, NJ, is seeking a part‑time, per diem Speech-Language Pathologist to provide examinations and evaluations, determine prognosis, and update care plans. You will assist with clinical/operational issues and work with the team to improve rehabilitation utilization.

On‑site role requiring ASHA credentialing, New Jersey licensure, and CPR. Position offers competitive hourly wages and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• ASHA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Driver’s license and vehicle insurance for home care/early intervention staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech/language pathology exam and evaluation to determine prognosis, provide intervention, and update plan of care.
• Assists manager/supervisor with clinical and operational issues.
• Works with manager to improve processes and utilization of rehab services.
• Consults with medical and other professionals to provide optimal patient care and efficient operations.
• Maintains evaluations, patient records and documentation in a timely manner.
