Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based services in Batesville, MS. This is a part-time contract position paying $65 per hour, with approximately 10 hours per week, and located on site in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Active SLP licensure in the state of assignment is required.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred and may be required by state/contract.
• Complies with relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
