Job summary

Culpeper County School District is seeking a Substitute Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat students with communication impairments. The role involves screening, testing, and providing speech-language therapy across articulation, language, fluency, and voice domains, with collaboration among parents and school staff.

The position requires a masters in speech-language pathology, Virginia licensure, and CCC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP or eligible for CCC preferred.
• Valid Virginia Board of Health Professions licensure or eligible.
• Equivalent training/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language screening for new students.
• Conduct evaluations and testing in articulation, language, fluency and voice.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and services for students.
• Provide direct speech therapy to eligible students.
• Maintain accurate progress records and timely IEP reporting.
• Collaborate with parents, general and special education staff.
• Document Medicaid requirements as needed.
• Engage in teamwork to support students with diverse needs.
