Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Desoto, KS. This part-time, school-based role focuses on delivering speech and language services aligned with IEP goals in a collaborative educational setting.

The SLP will work with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure students access learning through effective communication, while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Kansas.
• Active ASHA CCC-SLP in good standing.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to students with a range of communication needs.
• Support IEP goal development and implementation.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
