Job summary

Amergis is hiring a School Registered/Certified Behavior Technician for part-time contract work in National City, CA. The role focuses on implementing behavioral intervention plans and supporting ABA services under supervision, in school settings.

The position requires RBT certification or CBT license where applicable, supervision by a BCBA/BCABA, and a minimum of one year of related experience. CPR, health certificate, and compliance with regulations are needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) license (as applicable per state/contract)
• Must be supervised by client BCBA or BCABA
• One year relevant experience preferred
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral intervention plans and facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals
• Support implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapeutic services designed by a supervisor such as a BCBA
