AXIS International Academy seeks a school psychologist to deliver comprehensive assessment, consultation and school mental health services as part of the Special Education team. The role supports eligibility determinations, IEP development, monitoring, and implementation with an average of 16–20 hours per month and some flexibility.

The position includes administering assessments, collaborating on IEPs, observing students, and providing staff and parent consultations, plus occasional health

Formación

• Internship/full-time over 1 year or half-time over two years with 1200 clock hours (600 in a school setting)
• Specialist-level graduate training for school psychology (birth-21)
• CDE-issued license as 0-21 School Psychologist

Responsabilidades

• Administer and interpret cognitive, social/emotional, behavioral and academic assessments for eligibility determinations.
• Assist with IEP development and accommodations.
• Observe students to inform evaluations and interventions.
• Provide consultations to parents, teachers and administrators to promote student outcomes.
• Provide classroom health topic presentations and mental health support.
