Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support middle and high school students in Hinsdale, NH. This part-time role offers a consistent 3-4 day-per-week schedule, collaboration with educators and families, and opportunities to make meaningful student progress.

You will provide evaluations, develop individualized therapy plans, and implement interventions to enhance fine motor, sensory, and functional skills, while promoting independence in school activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• New Hampshire OT license required.
• Minimum one year of OT experience preferred, school-based experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to middle and high school students with diverse needs.
• Conduct evaluations to identify strengths, needs, and participation barriers.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
• Deliver interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, coordination, and independence.
• Support activities of daily living and school-related tasks.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain documentation per school regulations and guidelines.
• Educate families and staff on goals, accommodations, and strategies.
• Foster a positive environment that promotes participation and independence.
