Job Description and Position Requirements

The School of Science at Penn State Behrend is seeking Part-Time Lecturers in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, and Physics for the Fall 2023 (August - December) and Spring 2024 (January - May) semesters.

Courses and labs may include, but are not limited to:

  • Biology - BIOL 110, BIOL 162, BIOL 164, MICRB 107, MICRB 202, NUTR 251, SC 120N
  • Chemistry - CHEM 111, CHEM 113
  • Environmental Science - GEOG 30N, EARTH 2, METEO 3, METEO 5
  • Mathematics - MATH 21, MATH 22, MATH 41
  • Physics - PHYS 250, PHYS 251

Master's degree or equivalent teaching experience is required.

Positions are dependent on class enrollments; classes with fewer than 9 students may be canceled, affecting the position.
