Job summary

Rocketship Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students across 2-4 campuses in Concord and Antioch, CA, working 16 hours per week. You will conduct sensory-motor assessments, participate in IEP meetings, develop goals, and provide evidence-based OT services to students with disabilities.

The role requires an OT degree and CA license, experience with elementary-age students, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and CA license required.
• Experience with elementary-age students and a range of disabilities (learning, behavioral disorders, autism, etc.).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites to work with students and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialized assessments related to sensory-motor development and write reports.
• Attend IEP meetings and present findings to the team.
• Develop IEP goals and intervention plans.
• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services.
• Assist in implementing assessment recommendations and coordinating with families.
