Job summary

Uinta County School District Number One in Evanston, Wyoming invites applications for a Part-time Food Service Specialist in our Central Kitchen. Responsibilities include serving breakfast and lunch to students, assisting the Kitchen Manager, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety in a fast-paced school environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and basic math and communication skills; hours are 7:00 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day, 183 days,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in quantity food preparation and serving preferred.
• Basic math, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform all physical requirements including full range of motion and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving healthy meals to students.
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment daily and as needed throughout the day i.e.: dishes, counters, floors.
• Maintain food safety, state, and federal guidelines.
• Support Kitchen Manager in daily tasks.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Have a positive attitude and present yourself in a pleasant, clean, positive personal/professional manner.
