MGA Home Healthcare North Carolina LLC is seeking a Part Time School Nurse LPN/RN. The LPN/RN will deliver patient care under limited supervision to pediatric patients, following nursing processes and agency policies.

The role requires flexibility for Wednesday and Thursday shifts (7:30a–4:30p) with trach, vent, and g-tube pediatric considerations. Active NC nursing license and CPR certification are required, along with reliable transportation and current TB/Chest x-ray documentation.

Qualifications

• Active NC nursing license required.
• Pediatric care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing as ordered on the plan of treatment and nursing care plan.
• New problems, changes, and/or resolutions are identified and followed through as follows: Documentation of same on clinical notes, supplemental physical orders and nursing care plan.
• Skilled observations and significant changes in patient status are communicated to the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Manager.
• Requests for modification of orders or additional orders are made based on the patient’s clinical status and skilled nursing judgment.
• Participation in Agency’s other mandated activities as requested by Agency Director such as In-Services.
• MGA policies, procedures and Handbook are adhered to.
• Reports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within designated time.

Job Overview Job Summary Under limited supervision, the licensed practical nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and any standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations that govern any facility the LPN is working at. Part Time Wednesday and Thursday 7:30a-4:30p; trach, vent, g-tube pediatric.

Duties and Responsibilities
