Job summary

Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a registered nurse to provide health services in the school setting. You will administer medications, respond to illnesses, and document health events for students.

The role requires an Illinois RN license; BSN may be required for some duties. The position supports student health, safety, and comprehensive wellness programs within the district.

Qualifications

• RN with current Illinois license in good standing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing may be required for some assignments.
• Knowledge of ANA Code of Ethics and Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
• CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct professional nursing services, incl. medication administration, first aid, and emergencies.
• Maintains daily electronic log of student injuries and illnesses.
• Follows IDPH immunization and health screening rules; notifies supervisors as needed.
• Displays health planning and counseling for staff, students, and parents.
