Job summary

Worcester Cultural Academy is seeking a registered nurse for a part-time role in Worcester, MA. You will be the primary clinical presence on school days, coordinating with the School Nurse Manager and providing direct health care to students with complex needs. Bilingual candidates are encouraged, reflecting our diverse community.

The role includes public health tasks, compliance with FERPA/HIPAA, and training unlicensed staff. 7:30am-3:30pm schedule with in-person work in Worcester.

Qualifications

Massachusetts RN or LPN licensure is required or pending licensure.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
BLS certification required.
Experience with school-aged children.
Knowledge of FERPA and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide episodic and emergency health care to students.
Develop and maintain health care plans and 504/IEP alignment.
Administer medications per orders and regulations.
Coordinate with families, physicians, and health providers.
Train staff to administer medications and health procedures.
