Job summary

Webber Elementary in Lake Orion, Michigan, seeks a Staff Associate for a part-time schedule (11:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Tuesdays and Fridays) to supervise lunch period and playground, support students and staff, and model positive behavior.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliable attendance, ability to work with many people, confidentiality, and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned. CPR/First Aid knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have an excellent attendance record.
• Must have an excellent work record.
• Work includes monitoring lunch room and playground.
• Must display a positive attitude with students, staff, and parents at all times.
• Must have previous experience working with school-age children.
• Must be available and able to perform job duties.
• Ability to work with a variety of staff members.
• Ability to function independently with minimum direction.
• Ability to work with a large number of people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Serve as a good role model for students.
• Good moral character.
• Requires lifting.
• Knowledge in CPR and first aid is preferred.
• Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement

• Must perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
