Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining in Charlotte, NC is hiring a part-time Food Service Utility to maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment clean. Location is Hickory Grove Christian School, with online applications accepted only and a shift from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, and uniforms are provided. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with free meals and laundering services at select locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
