Job summary

Flik Independent School Dining at Asheville Christian Academy in Swannanoa, NC is hiring for a full-time Food Service Utility. The position keeps kitchen work areas clean and orderly, and supports food prep areas. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with daily duties including sanitation and cleanup.

Competitive pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. Benefits include free meals, uniforms and laundering service.

Qualifications

• Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Assists with sanitation and cleaning of surfaces and equipment.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to maintain safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and manages waste containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Distributes supplies and equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
