Job summary

Agua Fria Union High School District is seeking a Food Service II at Canyon View High School to prepare and serve nutritious meals to students and staff, supporting SBP and NSLP, and aiding catering events. The position requires adherence to safety, portion control, hygienic practices, and maintaining equipment and inventory.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Two years of experience assisting in a commercial cooking or baking operation.
• Knowledge of cooking practices, methods, and food service equipment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older upon hire.

Responsibilities

• The Baker/Cook will prepare and serve nutritious meals to students and staff in a clean environment.
• Support the National School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program.
• Maintain an accurate inventory and assist in catering events.
• Comply with policies, health codes, and OSHA requirements.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff and community.
