Job summary

Colorado Springs School District 11 is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Scott Elementary School to support daily food service operations. You will help prepare meals, assist at the serving line, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas.

The role is 0.50 FTE across 173 days, reporting to the Elementary or Secondary Kitchen Manager. Immediate start with a wage of $15.70–$18.76 per hour, non-exempt status, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
• Basic cashiering knowledge and skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service at all times.
• Assist in food preparation for school meals.
• May prepare hot or cold items for service and assist on the serving line.
• Maintain accurate production records and meal counts.
