Job summary

SSC Services for Education, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring immediately for part-time janitorial positions in the Winston-Salem area. Shifts are afternoons with potential for full-time opportunities, requiring up to 2 years of cleaning experience and ability to commute between Clemmons or Lewisville.

Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of experience in general commercial cleaning.
• Ability to commute between Clemmons or Lewisville.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties (floors, rugs, walls, glass, rubbish).
• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and returns them to place.
• Cleans surfaces, sanitizes, follows eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors and carpets.
• Contributes to a professional customer service environment.
