Schuylkill Intermediate Unit 29 is seeking a Part‑Time Health Room Assistant for Maple Avenue Campus. You will provide health services to students, administer medications, maintain records, and coordinate with the Certified School Nurse.

Requirements include nursing licensure (RN/LPN in PA), CPR, and a passion for student care. Responsibilities emphasize confidentiality, crisis response, and collaboration with staff and families.

Qualificações

• Must be a licensed PA RN or LPN and graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification and healthcare experience.
• Interest in working with children/adolescents and good communication skills.
• Ability to react quickly and decisively in a crisis; maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emergency care to students and staff per policy under CSN guidance.
• Administer medications to students according to school policy.
• Maintain student health records and confidentiality at all times.
• Notify CSN and administration of serious health issues and referrals.
• Document health services provided and communicate with parents and providers.
• Support the total school health program and coordinate nursing services as needed.
