Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring for part-time Food Service Utility positions at East Orange School District, NJ. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Prior cleaning and service experience required; lifting up to 50 lbs may be necessary.

Pay rate is $20.50 per hour. Online applications accepted only. Responsibilities include maintaining clean kitchen areas, sanitation, and assisting with setup and delivery of supplies.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented work is required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and empties designated containers.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads or unloads and delivers supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
