Job summary

Chartwells K-12 is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker/Cashier for Clawson Public Schools, MI. The role combines cashiering with general food service duties in the school cafeteria, with a 9:00 am–1:00 pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure quality and proper serving temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Performs sales transactions and enters sales into the cash register.
• Follows procedures for issuing cash refunds and manages cash drawer across transactions.
• Replenishes condiments and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
