Job summary

Gundagai High School is seeking a Farm Assistant (0.6FTE) for ongoing part-time duties in a regional NSW school. You will help prepare and maintain an agricultural plot, manage crop production and equipment, and supervise livestock with a focus on safe farm practices.

The role requires good planning, strong communication, and the ability to work with a team of school staff in a public education setting. A CRIMTRAC check and WWCC may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a Departmental agricultural plot at a school.
• Assist with crop production and disposal; machinery operation and maintenance.
• Care and supervision of livestock; receipt and storage of supplies; general farm maintenance.
