Job summary

Chartwells K12 in Marinette, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time dishwasher to maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in a clean, sanitary state during lunch service hours. The position offers a school dining environment and a straightforward schedule with training provided.

Duties include washing and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, unloading supplies, and keeping the dish area organized and safe.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and methods to maintain cleanliness.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Keeps temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Removes trash and disposes of waste properly.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
