Job summary

Westhoff Elementary in O\u2019Fallon, Missouri is seeking a part-time Custodian for a split shift (3:00pm7:00pm). The position reports to the principal and includes responsibilities to keep classrooms, hallways and restrooms clean and safe, both inside and outside, throughout the school year.

The ideal candidate is capable of light maintenance, student and staff safety, and assisting with events, while complying with district policies.

Qualifications

• The custodian should demonstrate the ability to perform the tasks listed. Must complete assigned tasks in accordance with established time and quality control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of building, premises, and entryways, including stairways, sidewalks, driveways, and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
• Clean classrooms daily: desktops, whiteboards, windows, dusting, trash, floors.
• Clean bathrooms: toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, restrooms, supplies replenishment.
• Clean hallways and common areas; keep water fountains polished.
• Inside duties: regulate heat/AC, raise/lower cafeteria tables, secure doors, report damages.
• Outside duties: raise flag daily, grounds maintenance, snow/ice removal, keep play areas safe.
• Move furniture/equipment as needed; load/unload deliveries; assist with events and setup.
• Attend required trainings and help with cafeteria duties as needed.
