Job summary

South High School in St. Peters, Missouri seeks a Custodian for a split shift (10:30am - 7:00pm) to provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role reports to the Principal and is non-exempt under FLSA. Start date is immediate.

The custodian will perform inside and outside cleaning duties, assist with setting up events, and adhere to district guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Custodian must complete assigned tasks in accordance with established time and quality control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of building, premises, and entryways, including stairways and sidewalks.
• Clean classrooms, bathrooms, and hallways daily to specified standards.
• Inside duties: regulate heat/AC, raise/lower cafeteria tables, lock/unlock doors, body fluid clean-up, replace bulbs.
• Outside duties: raise/lower flag, keep grounds free of trash, mow/trim as assigned, snow removal.
