Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• One year of custodial experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tasks, accept feedback, and participate in training.
• Ability to recognize and report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns.
• Flexibility to work evening hours and modified schedules when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain flooring and surfaces with appropriate equipment.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, walls, furniture, and other designated areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish cleaning carts and maintain supplies.
• Operate floor-scrubbing equipment for hallways and other areas.
• Arrange classroom and cafeteria furniture as needed.
