Job summary

Benjamin Franklin Charter School-Queen Creek is seeking a part-time Custodian for the High School Campus in Queen Creek, AZ for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports a clean, safe learning environment by performing daily cleaning duties and upkeep.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, be able to lift items up to 50 pounds, and possess an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. A background check will be required upon hire and cross-campus collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Be able to lift heavy items 20–50 lbs.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Daily Update/Daily Check-In
• Clean front offices and entryway
• Place cleaning supplies orders each month with campus Order Clerk
• Lunchroom duties: Wipe down tables and walls in high traffic area, Clean counters and microwaves, Pick up trash after lunch
• Check all bathrooms, restock paper towels, toilet paper and soap dispensers and remove trash
• Power blower outside front entrance and courtyard
• Clean various classrooms and locker rooms
• Clean main exterior doors and windsor in cafeteria and Student Union weekly or as needed
• Shared crosswalk duty with other custodians
• Be available on two-way radio and respond in a timely manner
• Assist with setup of events
• Other tasks as assigned
