The City of Baltimore is seeking a Crossing Guard to help children cross streets safely on their way to and from school. This position works part-time with variable hours on school days and reports to a technical supervisor.

Duties include standing at designated intersections outdoors, coordinating with pedestrians and motorists, and maintaining order under normal weather conditions. Training and a six-month probation are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to observe and control traffic at intersections.
