Compass Group USA is hiring for part-time Food Service Worker at Pewamo Westphalia Schools in Westphalia, MI. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Prior food service experience is preferred, and online applications are accepted only. Job duties include food preparation, service to students, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with inventory and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Able to work part-time schedule (8:00 am–1:00 pm).
• Customer service oriented with friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting, seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays to stations, stove and fridge following safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards for quality and portions.
• Serves customers following steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
