Job summary

You will prepare meals, follow approved recipes, operate standard kitchen equipment, perform basic measurements, and help ensure safety and sanitation in a busy school kitchen. Training and ongoing education are provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food according to planned menu of tested recipes.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies; promote proper portion control.
• Store and handle food items safely; maintain organized storage area.
• Follow safety standards and maintain cleanliness; report unsafe conditions.
• Handle cashier functions and record food requisitions.
• Maintain daily food preparation records; promote teamwork.
• Complete continuing education requirements; follow district safety protocols.
