Job summary

Cheshire High School is seeking a part-time Food and Nutrition/Kitchen Worker to assist with daily cafeteria operations. Responsibilities include cooking, preparation, serving and storage of meals, while complying with food safety and sanitation standards.

The position reports to the Kitchen Manager and is located on-site at Cheshire High School. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, and sanitation certification is preferred along with prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Sanitation certification preferred.
• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall day-to-day operations of the Food & Nutrition Program.
• Cook, prepare, serve and store food.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Support the school cafeteria operations at Cheshire High School.
