Job summary

Compass Group USA, through Chartwells K-12, is hiring a part-time Food Service Worker in Duxbury, MA. The role supports school dining operations, with a 9:00 am–2:00 pm Monday–Friday schedule and on-site duties in the school facility.

Applicants with ServSafe certification are preferred but not required; prior food service or customer-facing experience is helpful. Pay ranges from $17 to $25 per hour and includes potential referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Prior ServSafe certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience serving customers is beneficial.
• Ability to work part-time Monday–Friday 9:00 am–2:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator following safety standards.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils and ensures proper portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolves concerns with supervisor guidance.
