Job summary

Orono Public Schools is seeking a part-time cook (5 hours per day) at Orono Schumann Elementary School. You will engage in light prep, serving, dishwashing, cashiering and cleanup in a school cafeteria.

Previous food service experience is preferred but not required. The position includes a $20.14–$20.99 hourly wage, four paid holidays per year, and district benefits such as health and retirement coverage.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment.
• Position involves lifting, twisting, and turning.
