Responsibilities

• Confirm lunch orders for students, teachers, and staff according to cafeteria procedures.
• Operate the cafeteria register and process purchases.
• Greet students, staff, and visitors in a friendly, energetic, and helpful manner.
• Inform customers of available lunch, Grab & Go, and market options and answer questions.
• Introduce and communicate new cafeteria and market items as directed.
• Help maintain smooth and efficient customer flow during lunch periods.
• Monitor the market area to ensure items are stocked and presented well.
• Stock coolers, cabinets, snacks, and beverages before lunch service begins.
• Restock market items between lunch groups as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and report to Kitchen Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized cashier and market area.
• Close the register at the end of lunch periods.
• Complete and turn in lunch reports and notes to Kitchen Manager.
• Communicate discrepancies or issues to Kitchen Manager.
• Close down and clean the cashier and market area at end of lunch service.
