Chartwells K12 in East Orange, NJ is hiring for a part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER. Operate the POS, assist the Chef, and keep coffee and cashier stations clean while serving students and staff.

Experience cleaning, serving, and preparing food is required. The role offers a fixed pay rate of $20.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule on school days; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior experience cleaning, serving, and preparing food is required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system and assists the Chef in daily food prep.
• Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts.
• Performs cashier duties with cash accuracy and handles deposits.
• Keeps stations clean and stocked; rotates inventory using FIFO principles.
• Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving.
