Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor students during breakfast and/or lunch.
• Use the school’s positive behavior intervention system to reward students.
• Assist with food preparation, including portioning, plating, and basic prep work under kitchen staff direction.
• Serve lunch to students according to posted menus and portion guidelines.
• Perform general kitchen tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
• Wipe and clean tables and sweep under tables.
• Assist students during meal times with items needing to be opened.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the food services department and school.
• Maintain effective communication to ensure a collaborative school community.
