Job summary

Montgomery County Public Schools at Roberto W. Clemente Middle School in Germantown, MD seeks a part-time Food / Nutrition Services helper to assist in meal production and service. You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, following HACCP guidelines and standard sanitation procedures.

Minimum ninth grade; HS diploma or GED preferred. On-the-job training provided; lifting up to 40-60 pounds and operation of commercial equipment required.

Qualifications

• Basic food production knowledge.
• Ability to follow HACCP guidelines for safe food handling.
• Ability to perform standard sanitation procedures in a kitchen.
• Ability to learn standard school cafeteria operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production and serving of meals.
