Job summary

Boston Public Schools is seeking a Part-time Cafeteria Attendant for New Mission High School / Boston Community Leadership Academy Upper Grades. The 6-hour daily shift runs 7:30am to 1:30pm, supporting food service operations and maintaining kitchen sanitation. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required by first day of employment.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safe preparation and handling of food.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
• Serving of food.
• Assisting with record keeping.
• May operate a cash register as needed.
• Attends training meetings as required.
• Reports to work as scheduled and stay until dismissal by the manager.
