Job summary

South Madison School Corporation is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver to ensure safe, orderly transportation for students on an assigned route. You will operate a school bus to transport students and authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated locations.

Candidates must be 21+, able to pass physical exams, drug/alcohol testing, and complete safety training. Indiana CDL Class B with a proven safe driving history is required, along with reliable communication and the ability to

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age.
Must pass physical examination to operate a bus.
Must pass alcohol and drug test.
Must complete required bus driver safety training.
Must follow written and verbal instructions.
Must communicate effectively.
Must maintain order and manage student behavior.
Must be available if school is delayed or dismissed early.
Must hold Indiana commercial driver's license (Class B).
Demonstrated history of safe driving.
