Job summary

The University School Of Milwaukee Corporation is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver in Milwaukee, WI to transport students for daily routes and field trips. You will help ensure safety, supervise riders, and perform routine bus inspections to keep vehicles in proper working condition.

A valid Wisconsin CDL with S and P endorsements is preferred; a high school diploma is required; flexibility to cover AM/PM routes and special trips is essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass an annual Wisconsin School Bus Driver’s physical.
• Background check, including fingerprints, required by agency.
• CDL with S and P endorsements preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel with routes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of children and adults during transportation to/from school, field trips, and activities.
• Complete pre-trip inspection and report any issues to Director before transporting.
• Prepare trip reports with mileage and receipts.
• Maintain functional communication devices before each trip.
• Follow safe loading/unloading procedures and ensure proper restraints.
• Develop efficient bus routes with the Director and monitor compliance.
