Job summary

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in San Carlos, CA. You will start mornings with student pick-ups and transport them home after school, with possible field trips and events. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you will work a flexible daytime schedule on split AM/PM routes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with daytime work, no nights or summers.
• Enjoy working with students.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and ensure student safety.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, emergency exits).
• Report issues promptly and communicate with parents, staff, and dispatch.
