First Student in Merced, CA is hiring a Part Time School Bus Driver to start students' days with morning pickup and return them after school. Additional hours for field trips and events may be available.

No experience is required; we provide expert training to help you become a safe and professional First Student driver. Flexible AM/PM routes with no required nights, weekends, or summers.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with summers off.
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean.
• Follow DOT safety regulations and company safety standards.
