First Student in Augusta, ME is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers to transport students safely to and from school. The role includes supervising boarding, assisting students, and ensuring on-time performance while following all safety rules.

Eligible applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid Class B license with CDL training provided, and be ready for a flexible, daytime schedule. Training opportunities are offered to support new drivers in joining our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Are at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or summers.
• English proficiency required for safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading at stops; assist students with belts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report mechanical issues promptly.
