Job summary

Salter Transportation, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver to safely transport students to school and events in Newbury, MA. CDL Class B with P & S endorsements is required or training will be provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements; training available.
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Safe driving record.
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Effective English communication (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.
• Drive assigned local routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies.
